Lead from Rhythm,

Not Urgency

An Indigenous, decolonial approach to leadership recalibration for founders building meaningful work.

Everyday Animism. Sacred Rhythm. Flow You Can Feel.

Time as sacred Leadership practice

Decolonize your relationship with Time so your leadership stops reacting to pressure and starts moving with deliberate rhythm.

You’re building meaningful work. You carry responsibility. And you can feel when urgency distorts your focus, decision-making, and capacity.

You don’t need more information. You need integration. You need response-ability.

In Rhythm Reset, we identify where urgency is leaking into your leadership and make one structural shift your body can trust immediately.

This is applied work. We use ecological time awareness, nervous system regulation, and pattern recognition to clarify scope and restore grounded capacity.

Expect:

  • Clearer responsibility

  • Defined stop time

  • Measurable shifts in pace

  • Rhythm you can sustain

Flow isn’t a hack. It’s what emerges when response-ability aligns with real capacity.

On the other side of rest is Flow.

“Every session with Ixchel left my nervous system calm and peaceful in a full, embodied way. No matter what topic we were discussing, their ability to co-regulate without (apparent) effort, but just by being, filled me with ease and freedom.

“Just being in a container with Ixchel is enough, THEN receiving their wisdom about Time, healing, breath, Flow, human design, and all things down-regulating is simply magic. “

The heart that breaks open can contain the whole universe.

― Joanna Macy

I learned so much from Ixchel. My sleep hygiene is massively improved, I changed the way I'm delivering programs that will make them more effective for both my clients and me, and I'm actually making progress on my book.

Before I received coaching from Ixchel, I was constantly running out of time and working weekends while struggling to find time to finish my book. I know all the usual tricks. I've time-tracked, I've time-blocked, I get up early...and still couldn't seem to crack this nut. So I asked Ixchel for help, because they're not just a coach, they're "Decolonial Time Mender" (how's that for a job title????!!!!) and has an entirely different perspective on time and getting into Flow.

IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I learned so much from them. My sleep hygiene is massively improved, I changed the way I'm delivering programs that will make them more effective for both my clients and me, and I'm actually making progress on my book. I am writing without burning myself out.

ANYWAY. I say all of that to tell you that Ixchel is brilliant. In their coaching program, Ixchel trains leaders to:

✅ decolonize your relationship with time so you can RECLAIM IT

✅ skip the energy crashes and

✅ get in and out of Flow states more easily so you can do way more culture-making work in way less time.

If that sounds like medicine you'd like to receive, join Wild Presence.

Living Nepantla:

The threshold as home.

A Methodology for Leadership Recalibration for Living in these Times.

It took 500 years of genocidal imperialism to arrive here. It will take as many generations to undo, reimagine, and weave new worlds. You are one generation in that span… the Nepantla Generation, one of many, living in the between of what we are becoming.

The urgency is not yours. The exhaustion is not yours. The calendar was colonized before you ever sat down to plan your week.

Most approaches ask you to solve yourself inside these conditions. This one says the conditions are the problem. The solution is not self-improvement. It is reclamation. Relaxing into Nepantla is not retreat. It is how flow becomes possible. It is how the work continues without costing you your body.

This work unfolds in Nepantla, the fertile threshold between inherited urgency and deliberate rhythm.

Urgency loosens. Senses reawaken. Ancestral rhythms breathe back into your days.

This is a spiral practice, not a linear program. You return to each movement as needed, depending on your season, your leadership context, and the scope of what you're carrying.

1

Clarify your lane. Interrupt urgency.

IGNITE

This is where inherited urgency becomes visible and structurally interruptible. We name what is truly yours to carry, and what is not. Scope that expanded without your consent. Responsibility that drifted in because you were competent and the gap was there. Work that belongs to someone else.

This movement is not about slowing down for its own sake. It is about removing misaligned weight so your capacity returns.

This movement is active when:

  • Your scope keeps expanding without relief

  • You are over-functioning inside your team

  • Stop time is undefined

  • You are holding work that is not yours

The shift this invites:
Response-ability becomes deliberate instead of reactive.

In 1:1 work, this looks like:

  • Naming your true founder-level lane

  • Defining stop time

  • Subtractive scope

  • Nervous system recalibration tied to structural change

A refusal to go numb. A rising.

2

Stabilize capacity. Build grounded rhythm.

Embody

This is where rhythm becomes operational rather than conceptual. We move from insight into lived pacing — energy budgeting tied to actual workload, visibility aligned to real capacity, delegation clarity, and planning mapped to seasonal cycles rather than the colonial clock's relentless present tense. Ecological time awareness applied to real leadership decisions.

Flow is no longer something chased. It emerges from aligned responsibility.

This is also where the ancestors enter as active participants, not symbol. Where the body is treated as one sensing instrument inside a larger living system… in conversation with land, season, lineage, and community.

This movement is active when:

  • You oscillate between sprint and depletion

  • Visibility feels draining

  • You cannot sustain focus across cycles

The shift this invites:
Capacity becomes predictable instead of volatile.

In 1:1 work, this looks like:

  • Energy budgeting tied to actual workload

  • Visibility rhythm aligned to real capacity

  • Delegation clarity

  • Rhythmic planning mapped to seasonal cycles

The edge becomes home.

3

Express from aligned presence.

SIGNAL

This is where leadership becomes coherent. Expression no longer costs your body. Visibility reflects what is truly yours to carry rather than what predtech culture demands. Your influence expands without overextension.

This movement is active when:

  • You overextend to maintain momentum

  • Visibility feels performative

  • Your message expands but your body contracts

The shift this invites:
your expression returns to its original kinship nature… alive, cultural, relational.

In 1:1 work, this looks like:

  • Restructuring visibility commitments

  • Refining message from lived authority

  • Integrating rest into outward leadership

  • Designing influence that does not destabilize capacity

Expression becomes ecology.

Why Living Nepantla Works Differently

Most approaches to being stuck locate the problem inside the person. A skills gap. A mindset problem. A nervous system that needs regulating.

This work locates it somewhere else entirely.

The urgency is not yours. Burnout is often ancestral grief asking to be witnessed, a nervous system responding to inherited rupture, not personal failure. That distinction breaks something loose in people who have done all the work and still feel stuck. They have been treating a wound like a weakness.

What makes the difference:

It names the right villain. Not the person… the colonized clock. The predtech architecture. The invisible bargain that says meaningful work requires self-erasure.

It works with Time instead of against it. Not optimizing the morning routine but returning to rhythm from lineage, land, and pulse.

It brings in the dead. Ancestors as active participants, not metaphor. This shifts weight in ways that somatic work, astrology, or therapy alone cannot reach.

It holds body and cosmos in the same frame. Each person receives a map that is specifically theirs — not generic wisdom handed to anyone.

It does not ask people to heal before they belong. You belong to your lineage already. You don't earn rhythm. You return to it.

People who've tried everything have often been trying to solve themselves. This work offers something different: a way back to something that was always already theirs.

I want to get into flow more easily and use my time differently. I want to finish my book! That’s why I asked Ixchel to coach me. Their work with me was literally time magic. So much of what they asked me to put in place in my life, I would NEVER have thought to do on my own — and it’s genuinely working.

“Ixchel is BRILLIANT. I learned so much from them. My sleep hygiene is massively improved, I changed the way I'm delivering programs that will make them more effective for both my clients and me, and I'm actually making progress on my book. I am writing without burning myself out.
